A male friend told me he is already divorced. How can I be sure this is the truth? What if he's still married? Anyway to check this out?

court house (their will be a record of either)
have him invite you to his home
check his license for the address so you can do a drive by
(hope it is not an appartment)
but the only place I would check is the court house (more class)
no one will know that you did at least he won't accuse you that you don't trust him

You should be able to go to publicrecordfinder.com for your state. That lists many resources including marriage and divorce records.

At the clerk of court. Try the records dept.

depending on where you live it may be at your finger tips.
Type in Public Access to Court Information...for your state and then type in his name.....it should be listed with his name and his ex.
or go to the court house.....

Apparently you don't trust him but you could just ask him call his house see who answers or you could just ask his ex

do a public record search.....you can hire someone from peoplefinders for a fee to do that...good luck

Call him on an evening, and see if he answers the phone... If he does, then he is single... :D
