General Peter Schoomaker stated the military deployment system "is like a keg of beer, with the tap put too near the top." Should we go back to the Clinton strategy of strategic air and missle attacks on our foes?

You could expect China and Russia along with the Ukraine to get involved then. President Putin has already stated that Bush has overstepped his role Globally, and China agrees.

We could always go back to the Clinton strategy of bombing aspirin factories to get the press away from him being disbarred, impeached, and held in contempt of court. Not a good idea though.

The problem is not with the military. The problem is with the liberal leftist extremist media and those citizens who hate the United States and would rather see the US nuked than taking the war to the enemy (yes, enemy...not the propaganda word 'insurgent').

The hands of the military need to be untied to allow them to kill the enemy, period. War is a horrible thing, and civilian deaths are horrible as well. This is, however, unavoidable and in some cases necessary.

As far back as the US civil war this has been taking place. Entire southern cities were burned to the ground and countless citizens were killed as a result. If this hadn't taken place, the war would have continued for 20 more years and/or the Union would not have been preserved. The Southern people had the will to fight, and until this will was broken, the war would have continued.

The same thing occured during WWII. Entire German and Japanese cities were burned to the ground, and two Japanese cities were nuked. If this had not occured, the Japanese would have fought on for MUCH longer and the war would have dragged on.

Again, this is a terrible thing.....but with so many islamofascists eager to kill Americans the fighting will never stop until the will of the people to fight is broken. If this doesn't happen, nuclear weapons WILL be detonated on US soil by the likes of iran and/or north korea. When this happens the gloves will come of and this political correctness (a term coined in Soviet prison camps) will cease.

Until then, get used to all this.

Personally, I think we should remove all the US troops from the middle east, then utilize MX missiles and turn the whole region into a parking lot.

Frankly, I don't know why we don't use strategic nukes. obliterate the middle east, turn it in to one big piece of glass. Our military is stretched so thin, they are calling back up guys that have already done their service, threatening them with jail if they refuse to go again. Why we ever put the first foot soldier on the ground over there is beyond me. We will not win their hearts and minds as Bush thinks. Ash John Wayne said, When you gottem by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.

We should simply not over extend, and fight battles militarily, not politically...

P.S. Clinton was a puss
