Suddenly stand up and run to the tiolet and wet you face, come back and tell your boss you have a bad stomach and have been sick with stomach cramps and go home

You could always start an on-line business that you could work from anywhere.

Just don't recommend you start it at work unless you are ready to do it full time in case you end up with lots of free time when your boss finds out.

Seriously, if you are that disinterested in your job then I would consider looking for another job.

Try to top the Yahoo! Answers leaderboard. The US leader currently has 304,694 points -- better get cracking! You've got 304,603 points to go!

Otherwise, try these sites for some interesting and often-mindless internet pap: www.fazed.org and http://boingboing.net

Write that novel.

And, if all else fails, do some work.

look on the web for jokes, or get any notepad or book and do running man ( where each page has a figure in motion, like a animated video, one tiny movement per page) or see if you can touch you nose with your elbow. or see how long you can stand on one foot. you may still be bored, but people around you won't.

When I see things like this I wonder just what you people are being paid for. If you're at work, surely you shouldn't have time to do much else. I would have thought that if there was nothing for you to do your job would be in jeopardy, and in that case surely it would be better to do something more productive to justify your continuing employment

I know how you feel. It's like this for me every day.

It depends on what you could get away with.....reading, pc games, I've often thought of doing an on-line course or something, but in the meantime I pray for redundancy every day.
