Walmart truly IS evil! I used to work for those horrible people. Ugh! I tell everyone I know NOT to shop there first off. They abuse everyone, including their own vendors. The best thing you can do is, if you know some prices that are cheaper, hang around the grocery aisles, and when you see people shopping, say, "I know where you can get that even cheaper" and name the store nearby. That's really the only way I can think of. Walfart managers are notorious for going into other stores and comparing prices then making their crap a penny cheaper.
I BOYCOTT WALMART! THE ONLY THING I USE THEM FOR IS THEIR BATHROOM!

I haven't seen that documentary on Walmart, but I love that store it has EVERYTHING I need at a reasonable price. Alot of their generic products say mada in the USA. If that store is really cheaper customers will notice and will shop there, you don't need to protect it, people are smart and follow low prices.

If they are able to beat Walmart's prices it is probably because most of the items they sell have been licked up and down by Courtney Love.
Once she gets off the angel dust or starts taking meds that cause dry mouth again, your sweet heart deals will go the way of grunge and you will be stuck buying poorly wrapped packages of greenish meat from Sams Club.

You buy everything you need from there first. Then you go to any other store for the rest. But always shop Mom and Pop first. That's the best you individually can do.
Or...you could strip naked and give out coupons to their store in front of Wal-Mart.

Burn it to the ground now. You cannot save the world from Sam Walton's legacy of world domination. Besides, the only way that any store can be cheaper than Wal-Mart is if they are selling stolen goods, or cut their overhead by harvesting spare organs from illegal aliens and selling them on the black market. Sorry to burst your idealistic bubble.

Shop there and encourage your friends to do so too. Last year Walmart bailed out of Germany - they couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen and sold all of their stores.

always shop there and never at Walmart.
actually I like to just boycott Walmart altogether, they are a rapacious corporate entity that I feel will ultimately be bad for the economy.
get all your friends to do the same! ;-)

You can't really protect it if Wal-mart wants to buy them out, but you can ensure that business stays good. Keep shopping there and refer others to this market.

tell everyone you know about it, if it makes enough money to stay in busniess it shouldnt be that hard to. the store that you found has to sell out to wal mart in order for wal mart to take over

Target= GOOD
Shop at the little store. Tell everyone you know about it. Picket Wal-Mart and when you are arrested scream it out to the cameras, "Shop at ***!"
