There is a possibility that DA chairperson Joe Seremane is going to enter the running for Toni Lean's job as leader of the Democratic Alliance. Do you think that this will happen if so, will it have a significant effect of the number of voters who support the DA?

Innocentia, my appologies for the typo.

Well you can take it both ways. I don't think all white people are ready for a black leader so he will have to work extremely hard to get their trust. I think the DA might loose a lot of support from the white supporter, especially from the Afrikaans community.

Then again, a black leader might just draw more black supporters to the DA.

I for one, wouldn't mind, it is not about the person running the party, it is about what the party is built on as well as their code of conduct, what makes me vote for the appropriate party.

mmmh, who is Toni Lean? lol (Toni Leon)
Cute puss-in-boots by the way.... (",)
well if Joe is chairpeson and nothing negative is already in way...
shouldnt he obviously share the same views as a DA member?
DA as one, what their objectives, goals and culture (mission statement) are/is should remain uniform because as one they ought to want the same things or joe would be with an opposing party dont you think? maybe i'm talking bull..but i see it that way.

I think it will have a positive influence on support.
Personally, I don't care what colour the DA's new leader is, as long as he's capable and truely cares for the people of South Africa.

And with Zuma as President then it truly is goodbye South Africa. There has not been one great African Leader in the whole of history and South Africa loses every time they play this White displacement policy out.
