kindly answer my queries::
1) if u have a 3-4 year old who is following the early to bed routine, then kindly let me know the childs overall day-to-day time table/ schedule from morning to night.
2) the 10hrs of sleep required for the child is sleep for the entire day or night sleep( in addition to afternoon nap)?

She needs to be put to bed earlier. Around 8 or 8:30. Wake her up earlier too. Then just put in a movie during naptime at least she will rest if not sleep. Be consistent with this schedule, it may take a week or so.

she sounds like a sleep fighter most kids at that age are just because they are afraid that they will miss something there are a few things you can try but i will say that if you have tried these and they dont work next time she goes to the doctor for a check up make sure you say something ok heres my suggestions
one have a bed time set say by 9 pm she must be in bed no matter what lay her down kiss her good night all that good stuff then leave dont wait for her togo to sleep if she gets up you just keep putting her back also i am sure you know the warm milk trick most people dont use anymore but it works pretty good for little ones also if she seems to have a good amount of energy at about 8pm make her run around or play hard so that she wares herself to sleep and the only other thing is the lavnder bath the soothing lavender helps calm and put them to sleep these all helped me with my fearless and wild child ha ha good luck

One thing to watch is: what is the child eating before her scheduled sleep time? How quiet is her room? Is the radio on? Is the TV on? A child will want to stay awake just to be part of whatever is going on. Is there some kind of 'quiet' routine that she always must follow in order to go to sleep (for a nap or at night)? Maybe always give her some warm milk in a cup and sit quietly with her before she goes to bed. Don't be rushed yourself and act as if you are on your way to do something as soon as she goes to bed.

Atleast 10 hours of sleep a night. To line her sleeping out do not let her take a nap through the day, keep her up all day and then she will sleep all through the night

some kids just need time to unwind from there day my nephew will talk to himself for 1/2 an hour every night before he goes to sleep he talks about all kinds of thing but mostly what he did during the day

kids need at lest 12 hours of sleep each night some need less try an earlyer bed time 8 pm give her the time she needs to get to sleep keep it consistant at first she goes to bed at the same time every night even weekend untill she gets used to it

when she statrs getting enough sleep you will find she is less grumpy during the day

She should be in bed by 8PM..not 11PM. She is tired because you let her stay up way too late.
