UFO's back in the days of Jesus...?

Question

Do you think the people back then were visited by UFO's? There are pictures of a cougar; spider; and an Astronaut found carved in South America somewhere on land that was several miles long. At ground level they just look like lines drawn in the dirt.But from and airplane you can see perfectly what they are.This was back when the Mayan's were around. They disappeared leaving behind allot of unexplained things.They were way advanced for their time. Could this have been a runway for spaceship? Also, there are pictures in caves of Spaceship and Flying saucers back in Jesus's time. What do you think? Do you have any info about this subject? Please tell.

I watched a show on the History Channel about UFO's. Ones similar to it on the Dicovery Channel. Very interesting. Makes you think.

I have thought about this several times and I have come to the conclusion that it is VERY possible, just because when you think about the whole universe, how big God made it and everything, it isn't past reason that He created other [planets with other beings abnd are teaching them the same things He taught us. There isn't anything in the bible about this, but then again, there isn't anything in the bible about any other part of THIS world other that the part where Jesus lived. There really isn't any reason for God to have talked to us about this because it has no affect on our salvation. And also, for all we know, the other beings may be trying to spread His word by coming and visiting us. It's all very interesting, but I also thinks He likes for us to be curious and ask questions. It increases our intelligence and always keeps us on our toes. Good question though. I haven't seen the pics of the carvings in South America. Do you have a link? I'd love to check them out!

There was a recently aired, but re-run, A&E "UFO's: Then And Now" special on UFO sightings being depicted since the dawn of man's recorded history.

Eziekiel's blibical account of seeing "the wheel" in the sky may well be a UFO sighting. In fact, a NASA scientist drew the space craft as described by Eziekiel and a aeronautical physicist confirmed the thing had potential for flight!

There are woven tapestries dating hundreds of years, some barely decades after Jesus' birth and death, that show some flying aircraft like UFO in the backgrounds. There was even a UFO minted on a Roman coin, documenting the mass witnessed sighting of a HUGE UFO that hovered over a city in Rome.

In the 70s there was a book titled "Chariots Of The Gods" that touched on the subject of Mayan etchings and ground line drawings in sand that depict areonautical type aircraft and the large eyed occupants of these flying vehicles. I think you'll find this book very worthwhile reading.

If you look at the night sky, there are literally billions of stars. even if only one in a hundred stars has planets on it, and only one in a million of those has a habitable planet, that's still millions of possible planets with lifeforms. And take into consideration, we're a fairly new system. Our star is only in it' adolesence. There are billions of stars many billions of years older, giving civilizations pleanty of time to advance to space travel, especially if you take into account that we've come from the stone age to space travel in 20,000 years. If all that isnt enough to convince you- we're also in the outer rim of the very edge of one of the arms of the galaxy, so there's the rest of the galaxy of stars to consider.
If you're wanting earth evidence- there's a 2 million year old fossilized shoe print found in north america. They've found battery cells, and spaceship carvings more than 10,000 years old, and then there's the Nazca lines that you mentioned, which as a side note, they're not even carvings, they're just pebbles pushed by hand side to reveal the darker earth below. Since there's no rain there, the pebbles have remained unchanged for about 1000 years (though due to increased traffic, they're now starting to dissapear) They've also found similar lines in Arizona.

Well, they would have had to fly something besides some alleged chariot. After awhile it all starts to sound like BS. Is the so-called rapture just another type of abduction? If you think about it 2,000 years ago wasn't that long compared to the age of our planet which is.....? If you see enough of all of this it starts to get boring. Look up anomalous artifacts in the second site on the right side. There are alleged artifacts found buried in rock formations and mineral deposits supposedly thousands if not million of years old. Hmmm.How many great floods ago would that be?

yes,well,all those things seem to point out that other civilisations
did visited us during all the stages of our evolution.certanly there are signs of that in what u mentioned above.the old mayan drawings for instance can be seen only from some altitude,meaning that the ones who did them surely had 2 have a wider view,and the only way 2 have such a view is from the sky..also the rock formation from stonhenge is also almost imposible to be made with the poor tehnology from the neolitic era,given that those huge blocks of stone where brought from over 200 km away;the same situation on the Easter Island with those misterious giant sculptures..another thing,those 'chariots of fire' wich are mentioned in the Holy Bible certanly were some advanced space crafts..also the representations of humanoids is some sort of space suits found in the caves,wich date back to paleolithic era certanly reveals the fact that we have been allwayz visited by other civilisations,and maybe they are the reason,the key to our evolution
