I am almost glad he isn't president just because we wouldn't have his documentary. We need a few more AL GORES.

i'm happy his movie gained for quite a few motives. One because it helped me win my oscar pool. 2 because it became the acceptable Documentary of the year. The others were about how loopy Christians are or how insane the Iraq warfare is so i'm positive you would hate those too. This became likely the least offensive movie to Repubs. 3 because it really is bringing interest to an subject i imagine is significant it really is international Warming. i do not imagine he is going to run for president and that i do not imagine he is going to stay in Hollywood both.

Al Gore did win the election. He got screwed out of it. Gore absolutely deserved the Oscar for a well documented film about a serious issue that everyone was laughing about when Gore originally brought Global warming up.

Yea just like the things he wanted to accomplish in 2000 that Bush didn't. Imagine what he could do as president. I think Gore could be the saving grace that this country needs so desperatley.
He is compassionate, intelligent, and he wants to move the country forward

Wow a lib that actually Admits he DID NOT WIN THE ELECTION! The healing has begun, the rehab is working! there is hope for you yet!
Bertie, you cut me deep Ol' Pal. OK has everyone gotten to the Voting booth as Democracy asks? No well that's OK as we do not believe this is a true Democratic election, nor do we request it to be as the Academy Is a Private organization. I could care less that this true and great American Capitalistic organization chose in what ever method to pay Homage to Al GWhore and his less than accurate movie. On a personal note, I do believe Hollywood is and has become too self serving and too full of nepotism for it's own good. Hey Martin Congrats any interest in doing the Thor Girl Movie????

LOL you're right! I wonder if Rush Limbaugh will now make a declaration on his website and the radio how HE won an Oscar last night too, as he has about the Nobel Peace Prize?
What comes next are Neo Con attempts to call the Academy Awards a communist enterprise (even though they vote for winners in the truest democratic fashion), or they're all "Libtards" and "Anti-American" but they will NEVER actually answer your question.

I think it was good he won the Oscar for it..it helps to bring light upon a subject that people truly need to be informed about and to raise awareness about global warming.

I thought it was predictable, just like the Dixie Chicks winning their 5 Grammy's. Would expect nothing else from Hollywood.

I have never liked Al Gore for his rudeness and contempt for third world and developing countries. This oscar earned a little respect back for him.
