how can i change the type of my movie? ( .wmm-created in windows movie maker)?

After creating movie in Movie Maker > select save to computer and change the extension.

You need a movie editing or file conversion program.

Just as with Paint being able to load a BMP file then resave it as a JPG that takes less space, there are programs which can take an AVI or WMM file and resave it to MPeG format (or other formats.)

I am not current on what programs are available... I used to use "Digigami" for converting AVIto MPeG. That let me take a 13 gigabyte video capture file and compress it to a 680 mb MPeG maintaining acceptable resolution, frame rate and sound quality.
