I know about the problems the Medics have with the Junkies Alky's - gang fighting etc etc... but what I think the main problem is ..Ordinary Joe & Jane's like you & me...getting Frustrated & irate at the amount of time taken to attend to us in Hospitals or Doctor Surgeries...and we take it out on the Staff- who are mostly overworked most of the time...its enough tension to make the most civilised of soceity loose the place..

In my opinion it is because there is an increasing lack of respect by most everyone in society. On edge, the country see that those in power either dont seem to care or are blind.
The staff, as much as the general public are under huge pressure too of course, cut to the bone by cuts and suffering with daft amounts of paper-work. Incensed by the amount of negative press they are getting simply due to once again having to cut staff and employing contract staff (for cleaning) who are outside their direct control.
In short, when those in power are only interested in money, it is little wonder that those areas of the country that the general public come into contact with, like the NHS, the general public seem to think the NHS staff are the face of the problem. They are NOT of course. Sadly people dont seem to understand they are just as much, and in some cases more so, hassled than those that come in to use the service.

Well the answer to that my dear is Welcome to lovely new Britain where to get divorced separated and commit adultery, illegitimacy; are now considered the proper way to behave and is totally acceptable some of these iam agreeable to as well.
The prostitute, the single mum, the lesbian are the high society ladies and the Yob, the thug the bully, the racist and the homosexual are the high society landed gentry class .
Britain has no respect anymore for authority, people , religion, the church the queen and culture anymore .
It is also education education education, discipline ,discipline, discipline dont forget it is illegal to smack a child these days or to use any form of corporal punishment these days.
So people have no sense of fear or respect or self discipline and because we are a secular society and more agnostic; religion does not matter anymore people do not respect the church or any other religion , the church and the Queen no longer plays a role in our education system government, law legislation legal system courts ,police system or health service.
Well my answer to this is bring back religion and culture into our education system and society plus bring back corporal punishment and smacking .
Introduce national service and bring back people like capt main waring and Winston Churchill and lady Thatcher.

Probably because all they get is a slap on the wrist, they need harsher punishments, doctors and nurses are under enough stress as it is and they already do a very good but unrewarding job. Half those idiots are usually drunk or on drugs, they don't deserve to be treated especially when there injuries are self inflicted and then they turn violent. Medical staff should have more protection.

No they ought to no longer have too. If those courts surpassed out 'ideal sentences' too those who have interaction in this manner of violence the type of assaults would drop immediately. Its in simple terms yet another celebration of how society places up with a majority of those incorrect doings. NHS crew are in effortless words there in effortless words to assist human beings - why then do the courts (if it ever receives that a recommendations) persist in ignoring (giving ordinary sentences - if any in any respect) those crimes at the same time as they arrive into their courts ? - its because the guy causing the attack is 'continually so sorry afterwards' - which means they were 'inebriated' or regardless of - too late you've commited the crime now your going to penal complicated.!! Its because this does no longer ensue its on the upward push. The NHS crew ought to dread going into artwork - at the same time as that is occurring for all time as your submit states. Our society has thoroughly lengthy gone down the drain - without restore in sight in any respect - regulation and order is continually on those politicians agenda at the same time as in search of our votes - and no count number who receives into means the topic continually remains an similar - no count number how lengthy the party governs..!!! i'm fantastically positive this problem exists in different counries besides - its regrettably in simple terms an illustration of the circumstances and the international all of us stay in - yet its about time it became stamped out - once and for all.

i am a nurse and have worked in a&e and on the wards the biggest problem are the patients that are drunk etc but they are not the only ones who cause trouble alot of family members can get very irrate and aggressive on the wards and we dont have any security near by and i think its because they dont understand the role of the nurse and that we are not servants and oh yeah the best line i get is that "i pay your wages" which makes them feel like they are able to treat us like crap to which i reply i pay my own wages i pay my taxes and ni the same as everyone else????
