My wife cheated once 9 months ago(so she says) But since then she is allways wanting to please me, clean the house, take care of almost anything. And she just looks at me like she did when we first got together 8 years ago. Is she making up for what happened or did she actually realize that she is where she wants to be?

Hmm maybe she had a bad experience with the whole cheating thing.
OR she's still cheating and feeling guilty so by doing extra stuff she's making up for it.
Either way, i'd say enjoy livin the goodlife and when she slows back down, make her go cheat again!

It could just be guilt....be careful with the sudden change of heart, It could spell disaster. Usually, when a person cheats and feels regret for hurting their significant other, they go out of their way to please the other person, this sometimes gives a aura of relief. thinking that this kindness will make up for the things they have done. Be very careful.

That's just plain guilt. And now she's affraid you'll do it back. She's deathly affraid you'll wake up someday and say, I don't think i could ever trust you again? I'll tell you this much she's affraid of losing you so now yr the KING in her world. Whatever the reason she did it, she will never be able to jusify it and she's one lucky woman If you totally and uncoditional forgave her. best of Love to you & her.

She found out the grass wasn't so green on the other side after all. she is trying to make up for the hurt she caused you, the ball is in your court now, you can also try to make this marriage work and forgive her for her mistake, we all make mistakes sometime

She realizes she made a mistake and wants to prove it to you. Sometimes we just slip up, sometimes we are just born cheaters. I think she just slipped up and feels really bad for almost killing the relationship.
