Well, it's always good when talent is recognised. And it has nothing to do with colour.

African Americans aren't "always" winning Oscars only 2 won last night,besides what difference does it make what color the winner was anyway.Forrest Whitaker has always been an excellent actor. I have not seen one movie that he wasn't great in and Jennifer Hudson is a natural. There are many great actors of all nationality. Evidently the world isn't changing if people are still asking these types of questions.

Their was a few that won Oscars this side of the millennium.
Not ever african american is winning Oscars these days
I throught Will Smith and His Son did a great job in presuit of happiness.
I would like to think they are trying to judge fairly these days.

Hey, your use of always is veeeery wrong.
You got 7 or so BAs winning awards for ONLY 3 years now and you're making noise? How many awards are given out and how many Oscars have been held. If my maths isnt wrong, thats just about 4% BA penetration in the awards.
Do they deserve it?? Answer that....

It was barely in 2002 that the first black woman won an Oscar... so I wouldn't say they are winning all of the Oscars.

I never realized there were a lack of 'African Americans' winning Oscars...I suppose in my naivety I failed to pay attention to how many received Oscars in comparison to how many Caucasians received them.
