I think that the question relates to the physical hardware, rather than software to run on a computer. Word processors as hardware did exist some years ago, but have been totally superseded by computers, just as typewriters are all but non existent these days.
Buy a cheap second hand computer with Office on it, probably from an ad in your local free paper, and also buy a printer, which are remarkably cheap these days, and voila! problem solved.

Download Open Office for free. It's similar to MS-Office and the word processor is compatible with MS-word.
