Hey guys, got a question for you. I am thinking of signing a lease to a new apartment and I am worried about the noise level. the apartment is a loft, and the designated bedroom "nook" shares a wall with the next door unit's bathroom, the toilet is on the same wall and everything. I am worried that at night I will hear the toilet flushing and everything. When I talked to the super about it, he said each unit is insulated above code. I am in California, so what does that mean? Do you think I'll hear anything from the other side of the wall? The other wall where I can put my bed also shares a wall with the next door apartment, but that wall is the likely place where my neighbor will place his or her bed and I thought that might get a little weird if either of us is, uh, entertaining in the evening. Thoughts?
Thanks

one of the joys of apartment living is the occaisonal noise. I say sign the lease if you're a deep sleeper.

The questions coming up at this time are at a good time I would wait some other better place to follow.
