Saudis have an issue with this, what about the Emirates? I like my copy and since I am a daily reader, I want to take it with me.

Carrying the Quran with you is fine. You can even bring a Bible to the UAE, you just are not allowed to convince people. The UAE is very open. Can not be compared with KSA.

Not an answer, but shouldn't carrying a Quran be encouraged in an Islamic nation??

I have never know that Saudia prevent u to bring ur owncopy of Quran...anyway I think that it is not a problem in the UAE.

some fabricated books are banned, esp asian books are corrupt
