Not Flash, but tons of others if you simply mean that they were born with inate abilities under certain conditions. All the X Men, Namor, Aquaman, the Martian Manhunter, Thor, Hercules, Hawkeye, Green Arrow, Batman, all the (current) Inhumans, all the (current) Eternals, and that's the short list

SteveA8 has answered this very well. Guessing at it, I'd say 25% of ALL comic characters do not have an origin story for their powers; ie. their abilities are skills they developed or were born with. Too many to list.

In the day, that was thought to be a bit of a cop out by a writer, hence the fact X-Men was a second tier book for about 15 years. Now the idea of mutants is popular, so the percentage of mutant characters has increased over the years.

Why do human beings like each and every character in fiction? extremely, it is not all on the subject of the powers. not anybody is a Boy Scout, valedictorian, sort citizen who's in basic terms undeniable desirable in each and every way and "above all of it" as properly. some human beings have issues, some human beings are not desirable and we prefer to root for and relate to fictional "human beings like us". See, on the tip of the day, fiction is an get away from actuality. effective, it is an artform too, yet for many readers it is approximately assembly new human beings and being in new situations that the actual international in basic terms would not grant. And in comedian books, being a superhero isn't in basic terms a brute-tension skill fable. that's a flight of fancy approximately what you DO with the skill. effective, Superman saves lives, yet he has to hold returned lots, so oftentimes that as quickly because it does come time to certainly throw down (examine: against Doomsday), he would be in basic terms a splash a pansy now and returned. slightly passive-aggressive. So he would not do a super sort of the failings readers and followers would prefer to work out him do. And by skill of that prevalent, Son Goku in DBZ is lots worse. he's a fighter, not a Hero. He would not save lives or certainly, do incredibly some something that's suitable to the human race. so as this is the charm, extremely: different characters have extra in straight forward with your conventional, effortless reader, and the different heroes get to Do Stuff which you by no skill see your Superman/Goku varieties even communicate approximately doing. It makes for a extra interesting narrative.
