I used to throw "Porch Parties" where I made dinner for like 8 ppl and took it all down to my front porch of my loft, cause all my buddies were homeless peeps, and we would all sit around, kick back some brew and exchange stories and have a good time. My bf worked evenings to overnight, so I was bored and had just came from a family of 8, so I was accustomed to cooking large meals. It was fun to have the company and gain common ground with other people, and see what their views on life were. Its amazing what you can have in common with complete strangers.

well i would say that would be the surprise birthday party my pal held for her hubby about two weeks ago...

what was so cool, was the location first - nice and serence environment which we then brought to life... the food was great, the drinks, and the music.. also the fact that it was a small group of close pals - everyone knew everyone and so one was never short of conversation...

i had loads of fun that night... it sure beat all the other parties i ever thought were cool...
