How to ensure that a man is gay and a woman is lesbian?

These are just my general observations as an innocent straight male.

Some men are a dead give away by the way they talk and prance around. Their mannerism, bright colors of their clothing, and their "tender" interests, etc., are the perfect hints. If you find being attracted to them physically and you are a man? Then you are gay too.

As for lesbians, you can usually tell by they way they go around flaunting that special air of masculinity (I swear, sometimes god gave these women a vagina by mistake), like the way they talk, their voice, their manly clothing, butch hair styles, etc. And so if you are a woman and find yourself drawn to this macho behavior of another woman then you are a lesbian for sure.

Now, having said all that, I have to admit that I know of some very beautiful, and extremely feminine women, who are confirmed lesbians. As, I am sure there are a lot of perfectly handsome, and very masculine men out there who are gay as well.

These days, its never easy to tell, is it? Not much of an answer, I guess. I am straight, after all. What do we know, right?

A gay man is gay if he has sex with men. A gay woman is a lesbian if she has sex with women. Note: They may not have sex with the same gender, yet still be gay. It depends on whether they are celibate or not. And, even if men and women have sex with their respective genders, they could actually be bisexual...which means they have sex with "both" genders, Having said all the above, you cannot "ensure" that other people are gay, lesbian or bisexual unless they tell you first hand.

In order to determine if someone is gay or lesbian, the only way to know for sure is to administer the appropriate test. Tie them into a large, sturdy basket that is on the end of a plank. Tie the suspected homosexual's hands behind his/her back. Lower the basket into the river. If the person floats, he or she is a homosexual. If the person drowns, then he or she is not.

Or, wait. That's witches, isn't it? So hard to tell with the new inquisition going on.

Sometimes their eyes give it away... sometimes you see somebody and you think, 'oh this guy,' till you think 'oh wait... the pant/chest looks weird... this is how I recognized a lesbian once. But a lot of gays look totally heterosexual, so it's hard to say.
