I have been trying to concieve sine november, doing all tests to check ovualtion and charting temp with no luck. I have been on the pill for several years with a few gaps to due to problems. I did not have a period at one point for a year so went back on the pill and then when decided to come back off in novemebr as ttc. I am now having reg periods 33 days apart but nothing and seem to of tried everything and have tests from doc for me and partner with no issues apparently. How long did it take you to concieve? I am a healthy 26 year old. Also just bought fertilaid has any one tried this? Sorry about all the questions just very impatient.

We've been trying since May '06 for baby number 4. Our first took 6 months to conceive and she came 3 months prem. Our 2nd took us 3 years and clomid! And you won't believe it, 3 months after I had her I fell pregnant with my boy without even trying! Most healthy couples will get pregnant within 6 months of trying, but it can take up to a year. Any time after that is time to see a doctor. I've done the ovulation kits and all that too, and everybody tells me "Just stop trying." And that would be great, but it's all I can think of at the moment! Sorry, I haven't heard of fertilaid!

I know just how you feel sweetheart it takes it's toll when you are trying so hard to conceive. I am currently pregnant with my 4th child I had the coil removed in August 06 but I didn't get pregnant until 3 months later and I also couldn't understand why it wasn't happening quicker. I was told that it can take time for your body to settle down after ending contraception. With the pill it can take even longer as there may still be traces of the pill in your body. Be patient sweetheart and make sure you have sex at least 3 times a week and have fun trying, calm down and relax as your worrying could also be delaying the happy event. Good luck to you hun.

When i tried to conceive my first girl nothing happened for a year and iam certain this is because i was thinking about it, the moment my partner and i decided to wait a Little while longer i conceived Amelia who now is 3 years old. For some reason when you try nowt happens but when you just start to enjoy sex and kind of forget about it it will happen. you will know about waiting until you ovulate until having sex, but this did not work for me me, and my partner had sex every day or two for one month now iam 22 weeks pregnant. Don't let it get you. Down try to concentrate on what you can do now without a child and it will happen so quick.

if you've been on the pill for a few yeas it can take a while for your bodies hormones to be back in balance. Some people can get pregnant as soon as they come off, others it can take about a year. Just try to relax and not think about it as much. It will happen eventually.

my wife and i are in our late 30s. married for 4 years. got very worried when despite every effort, could not concieve for 2.5 years. then my wife was pregnant. unfortunately this ended at 10 weeks in a miscarriage. then, what joy! within 3 months, my wife was pregant again, and now we have a lovely 4 month old son. the only things that changed were diet (healthier), we both started taking multivitamins and minerals, and started going for walks daily. there is hope!

I came of the pill in May 05, after 15 years on it. I am now 6 weeks pregnant - it took me a while.

Try not to stress about it - it will happen

good luck
