cheeky behaviour from your child. Any advice how to stop mouthy behaviour--aside from corporal punishment? Really pushes my button to hear long drawn out "Sorrrorrry" While giving you that look, parents you know what I mean?!

Wow, for a minute there I thought that I must have wrote that. I understand your frustration and am waiting for more answers right along with you. I would offer you an answer but everything I've tried has not worked.

I say "Not good enough! Say it again!" And we'll do it until I'm satisfied. Yes, it has no point, other than to stress that their behaviour is unacceptable.
She's being insolent - and you don't have to put up with it. My kids get pocket money and I dock them for cheek and rudeness.

you have to say in a firm voice "stop it dont you dare tlk to me like that" and if he carrys on put him in the corner of the room for 2mins and tell him to stay there and think about wat hes done and if he moves add another min on and keep on doin it untill hes stayed and once the times up make him say sorry and say well done for stayin! trust me it will really work
