im getting an error message when i try to open my usb drive it says "The disk in drive E is not formatted do you want to format it now?" how to fix this error without formatting because i have very important files inside please help, anyone?

i used some free evaluation software and it shows the files that i can recover but they does not allow it unless you buy the full version , is there any program like this one free to download?

Probably, it got corrupted, which flash memory just loves to do. In that case, the only thing to do is format it, unfortunately. Only other thing I can think of is if you're trying to run it on a different system than normal, but I don't think flash drives even care about that like floppy disks did...

Sorry You will have to format it, so what ever was on it will go sorry, and if he format dose not work it is faulty and you will need a new one.
