my friends, people i meet, my family, strangers... sometimes i can just be talking to someone great about nothing at all and i am made optimistic, as if anything is possible (could turn into a musical number). i love being surprised by people and watching them move. and i love touching people, but thats something i save for a select few. strangers don't generally like that. also, if someone tells me something that makes them vulnerable i get so overwhelmed. in doing that they are being ballsy, sensitive, sincere and trusting, which makes me want to run away and write them down.
i am such a cheese.
i also get inspired by my dreams. my subconsciousness knows me so much better than my consciousness.

I have always found that natural things have inspired me. I suppose been a photographer and teacher of same, I have always been visually inspired. I have always used Black & White for my own work, since I see this as a purist form. Colour makes its own composition most of the time. I also find that music and poetry inspire me to produce photographic images. In recent times my son has become a video cameraman, and this now has a bearing upon how I see/look at and percieve images. I have to thank him for teaching me digital video editing. Hope this helps.

Everything! I try not to limit myself to just one thing. I try to leave myself open to everything around me, that way if I'm having a problem getting inspired I'm giving myself a greater chance to take something in I may not usually think about. I'm just being a sponge soaking up what I can and if nothings really grabbing my attention then I can just ring it out and keep going.
It's funny though, I usually get inspired when I'm away from my supplies. That's usually when I'll see something or hear something that stikes a cord. Mainly when I'm at work or driving someplace. And I know why, because I'm not thinking about it. My mind is occupied by something else and there's no pressure to be inspired.

When I look at art I want to be able to not only see it but to also feel it.I want it to pull me in so that I can truly grasp what the artist was trying to convey. The use of colors, textures, shapes and sizes coming together to create a masterpiece. Thus this will inspire me to be more creative in my own work and life.

I find food magazines inspire me to extend my cooking repertoire. We have some gorgeous paintings we have bought and I find they inspire me to look for the beauty in other things. They also inspire me to keep my rooms tidy so as best to show them off!
