I scratched skin off above my chin with my finger nail when I flinched as (too hot) water came out of the shower last night.
It bled. This morning there's a light pinkish patch.

Will this perminantly scar or clear up and become unnoticable? (how long?)

I don't think there will be any permanent scarring. It's hard to say how long the skin will remain pink. It depends on your skin type and tone and the severity of the scratch. In the meantime, put a light application of antibiotic cream on the area. Keep it clean, and don't rub at it or pick at it with your nails. I think you should notice an improvement in a day or two. It doesn't sound like a serious injury, and you shouldn't worry so much about scarring.
