Has anyone seen it yet? Is it gory? Is it worth seeing?

Definitely worth seeing. Some gore, but not so much in the fantasy parts of it. The violence is more in the scenes showing the evil Captain torturing/killing his enemies.

Pan's Labyrinth is a fantastic film absolutley brilliant. It is gory but it still deserved the oscar for best foreign language film

For me, this was the movie of the year. So utterly sad and beautiful at the same time. You see what the main character see (child) but you also see beyond that, beyond her understanding and the reality. See this movie with an open mind. I thought it was utterly brilliant. The soundtrack is chilling and all I can say is that I will never hear a lullaby like *that* again.
