who do u think is the best bet for the indian team, in the world cup.....virender sehwag or robin uthapa??? and plz do justify ur replies

both sehwag and uthapa are good openers.since sehwag is not in form i think uthapa will perform better than him.both are playing offensively but i can say that uthapa is like jayasuriya to srilanka,afridi to pakistan.so we should use his strength and india should open with this good opener.

I strongly feel that India should open with Ganguly and Uthappa to start with. If a wicket falls early, Sehwag can come in at No. 3 when the ball is quite new. However, if no early wicket falls, Sehwag should bat in the middle order to accelerate the scoring.
However, if Uthappa does not fare well, Sehwag should be asked to open with Ganguly. Even opening with Sehwag and Uthappa will not be a bad idea and Ganguly can bat in the middle depending upon the situation of the game. However, if Uthappa or Sehwag become complete failure, Dinesh Karthik should be included in the playing 11

Uthapa ain't bad but Viru is Viru. If he gets going then there is nothing a bowler can do to stop him. He can put the team in the commanding position in a hurry. We must forget that he is not only a batsman but a very reliable fielder and a bowler. I think he is going to very well in the world cup.

sehwag has a experience but uthapa was a young blood player .so i think sehwag

Well it's of course V.Sehwag coz every bowler fears him & tek sum time 2 settle their line & length coz of his past records during which VIRU can really smack lots of runs in d 1st 10-15 overs crossing over 120-150 which makes others bat wid ease.
I can't hope d same frm Uthapa.

uthappa has the ability to shatter the line and length of the bowlers.............so he must open
in fact sehwag can deliver the most against the spinners and medium pacers so let him bat at no. 5

If you compare them at their best V.Sehwag is defenetly better. But if you compare their current form it is uthapa
