A Muslim leader, Abu HassanDin Al-Hafiz in Malaysia said, "cases of rape & incest were rampant. Women should have to wear chastity belts to help reduce sex-related crimes. We have even come across a number of unusual sex cases, where even senior citizens & children were not spared. The best way to avert sex preditors is to wear protection. My intention is not to offend women but to safegard them from sex maniacs. Husbands could feel more secure, if you know what I mean. Chastity belts were worn as recently as the mid-1960s." Abu Hassan has served as religious advisor to the King of Malaysia. The Star, Malaysia.
I have seen documentaries about the Horn of Africa where men insert Acacia thorns in their wives virginas so they won't,"get up to mischief" while they are away.
Abu Hassan states that husbands would feel more secure if their wives wore a CB. But, wouldn't a wife be just as entitled to feel as secure about their husbands.

Wearing a device that would prevent penetration, would help stop men from being unfaithful or commiting rape. Then women wouldn't need to wear a chastity belt.
I see this as being much fairer as it is men who cannot control their actions & commit rape. It is not women who invite rape.
As as it is men who commit these sexual attacks & are unfaithful while they are away from the wife. It should be the men who wear a Chastity Device, such as two Acasica thorns through the head of their penis at right angles to prevent penetration.
If it's good enough for the woman, then it's good enough for the man.
Men who feel that they may be raped could wear a plug to prevent penetration, just like a chastity Belt.
