What is theory and what is hypothesis? whats the diffrence between theory and hypothesis with example?

A hypothesis is an asumption .... there are no facts or data to support a hypothesis ...

But once you prove you hypothesis .. you have a theory which is supported by data ...

eg - you can put a hypothesis like... say .. electricity is faster than light .. but then there isnt any proof ...

but when you say that light is faster than sound .. it is indeed proven ..

A theory is a hypothesis that has been proven many times in repeated, testable, controlled experiments.

You prove a hypothesis by conducting an experiment, but a single experiment does not prove a theory
