as an employe, what manner of discipline do you expect from your boss or employer

it depends on what i am being disciplined for. if its something simple like walking in 2 minutes late a simple "dont be late again" will do the trick, but if it is something serious like sexual harrassment, pull me to the side a simple "your fired, get out" will be good too. just be conservative with your discipline and never do to an employee what you wouldnt want do unto you.

No discipline should ever be needed from an employer. When ADULTS are working together, self-discipline is the most effective form of correction. A word of constructive advice should be sufficient if any problem arises.
