Dubai isn't the big salary location it once was. I've been offered a couple of jobs there recently, where they talk about tax free and how wonderful it supposedly is - but they offer a salary that is the same as what I'm already earning after tax, whilst the cost of living there is very high! I investigated the costs, and decided not to accept the job offer but I do have friends who've accepted offers and moved to Dubai for work though, and although they've been surprised at how expensive things are they are still enjoying it.

12,000 Dirhams a month doesn't sound high, compared with salaries in Europe (where cost of living is lower than Dubai) for a sales manager role, and it wouldn't go terribly far in Dubai unless you were living away from the centre of things and didn't eat out too much. I've just done a google search for 'sales manager job dubai' and there are a lot of websites advertising roles there which you might like to follow up on to see what's a "normal" salary (e.g.: www.jobsindubai.com).

From what I've been told a two bedroom apartment can cost about 12,000 to 20,000 DR in the expensive areas, so I'd guess that it might be half that in the areas further out of town. You also shuld know that most landlords demand 6-12 months rent in advance, so your employer should be prepared to cover that for you rather than expect you to pay so much out of your own pocket in one go. Good English language education can be more expensive as well, so you should try to get them to include that in your package. Most of the groceries are imported, so although duty isn't an issue you'd still be looking at around 800 to 1,000 DR per month. Fuel is very cheap. So for 12,000 DR per month you probably won't save much, but you'll do okay if you manage to find a cheaper apartment.

As far as I've been told Indians occassionally experience racism, but there are a lot of Indians there now so you should be able to find people and a community that you like. Good luck.

Dubai is very beautiful and costly place of world, but if got 12000dr per month then you can fulfill your requirement, but can't live a luxuries Life.

But i like you should go to duabi.

Average sales manager salary( with 10 years experience and mba+be) at least 25000dr.
