lying down or standing up?

Is anybody know about this?

Comparing the animals of the present and the past, it can be taken that the carnivorous dinosaurs had the luxury of sleeping by lying on the floor, as they had the best reflexes (if attacked while sleeping) or they lived in packs (sleep in turns).

But the herbivorous animals have to be awake around 20 hours for foraging and keeping predators at bay. Huge herbivores cannot lie down also, as they are more vulnerable to attack if lay down (like elephants and giraffes). So, they had to sleep in short power naps (mostly with half their brain active or with their secondary nervous system active) should there be any attack.

They all lying down now ......but back in the day 100 million years ago i figure they never slept as they are reptiles might have rested from time to time probably standing
