Strangely enough, just a few minutes ago, I was wondering why do people become straight?

People dont "become" Gay or Lesbian, they just are, its a preference. Homophobia is a choice born out of ignorance and lack of understanding. Spot the difference?

Well, you take a dash of genes and you take a dash of hormones and mixed it up with psychology and bake it for 9 months and out of the oven comes a gay.
Added for your addition:
Normal is a matter of perspective and not something that can be held by everyone since what is normal for one person may not be normal for another. And, you can't change the ingredients of a cake you already baked just because you don't like the flavor. The same is true of people.

What is normal?
I was born this way and will keep going this way.
It is not a choice no more than It is to be born or die.
What if it was normal for people to be born gay and then someone chooses to be straight. Would you be gay to be
normal? No because you were born that way.
Why is it so hard to think people are born gay?

why do people become straight? I mean, what happens in a person's life to make them choose to be heterosexual? hmm?
we must answer this same, ridiculous question dozens of times a day. no one "becomes" or "chooses" to be gay, it's a natural, genetic variation...like your eye, hair or skin color. So, therefore, it IS normal! Abnormal is what you call people who hate anyone for no good reason other than the fact that they are "different" (i.e. sexual orientation, race, religion or culture).
why did you become straight?

It's not a matter of becoming - it's a matter of being.
Their only choice is to accept themselves for who they are or to live in denial and pretend to be straight.

I wonder why people ask such an obvious question again and again without checking the search function and reading the hundreds of same questions answers.
