Just kind of funny since the Associated Press called "The Departed" an American homegrown movie loosely based on Infernal Affairs. I didn't know a loosely based movie took the exact same scenes from the original.

Would not surprise me. American movie makers are notorious for copying foreign films and claiming them as their own.

The Departed is a direct remake of Infernal Affairs, Martin Scorcese (the director of The Departed) has said this since before he even started making the movie! He has given full credit to the original writers and has only won awards for Best "Director". Even so, The Departed is fantastic and don't make quick, unresearched judgments about things you aren't aware of!

I have seen The Departed but I haven't watched my copy of Internal Affairs (I, II or III) so I don't know, yet.

But, ever see The Magnificent Seven (developed from Kurosawa's Seven Samuari) or Fistful of Dollars(?) also developed from another Kurosawa Samurai movie? (and remade again as Last Man Standing)

But, I think I heard where a few of Kurosawa's themes were lifted from Shakespeare who lifted some of his from Greek classics who probably borrowed theirs from other people. I probably even borrowed a good bit of this, too.

"you will not be able to step interior a similar water two times," skill a similar subject as "you will not be able to pass abode returned." Time flows like water, we are replaced by skill of events as is our ecosystem. Its a demonstration that the previous is long previous and can't return. If we take it a step extra advantageous, it illustrates that our latest strikes are irrevocable and so we could continuously be careful of what we do or say.
