does everything begin with a choice? or are we driven by our instincts?

if we are driven by instincts, then we are completly out of control. if it's choice, then we have control over what we do.

We all use our instincts to help us make a choice. It usually is a dual effort using instincts and knowledge of what all the possible outcomes can be. Sometimes they fight each other and we make decisions based completly on what we know not the instinct and ignore the instinct if it is telling us not to and knowledge is telling us to do it.
