HUGE variables are in effect here. What kind do you want? How tall and long? Pre-built or put together by you? What kind of finish (pickets, offset, privacy, etc)?
To get a very rough guess, measure how long (within 5 feet) you want it, how tall (within 1 foot), and decide what kind of finish you want. At that point, figure about an 8 foot post length, and use those numbers to determine how much framing wood you need, plus how much wood is needed for what covers it. While we're in the "rough guess" mindset, add about $50 for hardware (screws, nails, framing connectors, etc) and about $30 for cement to support the frame. Then, just for padding, add another $50 for unexpected expenses (post-hole digger, levels, saw blade, driver bits, stain, paint, etc); you never know if you'll need something else halfway through the project.
This is really a wide-open question. It could be anywhere between $100 and $2000 depending on how it's supposed to look and work. You might want to become real friendly with your local Home Depot!

I wish more askers would add better detail, NO OFFENSE.
I have no clue where you are, or the TYPE of WOOD fence your question regards, OR if you're asking about material costs, labor costs? ETC.
In the USA at a building supply store for example a bargain "Stockade" fence, possibly made from Cedar, etc. can cost in a range of $25 to $30 per 6x8 section. Then there are treated posts to buy, 8ft is usual, perhaps at a cost of $8 per.
Installation might mean removal of an old fence? That certainly would add to labor costs. You don't say if this Q is rhetorical, or actual in whether or not You are installing and want help in bidding a job, or just trying to budget a job you want done for you?
To install fence I charge by the hour and define my bid by the number of linear feet I'll have to install. I offer this example. Labor Only... Assume my example is 12 sections of fence to be installed. That equates to 96 linear ft. I'd have to install 13 posts if all the sections remained 8 ft. I'd charge you @$25 plus per hour, $225 minimum, just for the post holes to be dug. Once set and settled, those 12 sections would cost you an additional $600 plus/minus, minimum.

Your best bet for this is to determine the length of the fence you want, and how many gates. Preferably draw it on a piece of paper. Take it to a place that sells fencing such as Home Depot or Lowes and pick out the type fence you want and the height.
The salesman can give you a very close estimate of the cost if you want to do it yourself and what the cost would be if you have it done. Once you have an idea what you want you might wish to go to the store's competitor and get an estimate. Home Depot and Lowes will usually give you 10% off their competitor's price.

A smooth and easy poem to read. At first I thought the reference to this place unnecessary until I got to the later line. I wish you well; New groups and spheres are part of a world that is alive. I expect to see you back at some stage and applaud you for keeping lines of communication open. Thank you.
