You are correct every one perceives reality differently. It is true, and real to the person who perceives it his or own way. What is real now can be false tomorrow. Nothing is real, everything is a farce even the news. One News station gives the news as they see it. It does not make it a fact. So if it is not a fact then it is not real. If it is tangable then it is real. For example a piece of art is real, how one perceives it is their own interpertation.

Perception should not be used to judge whether or not reality is real since it is a very flimsy human tool that can be swayed by almost anything from drugs to being hit on the head to being tired or pissed. People gain their perception of reality through their senses and considering the false feedback we often receive from these senses, reality needs to be judged in a different way. When you are asleep as far as you know everything around you remains existant, and that is why reality is real. Individual perceptions are just a piece of a whole, if you look at the *** of a horse and your friend looks it's head, you will have completely different beliefs about what the horse is, its behaviors, etc., reality is the same.

Gentle reader, perception is a subjective view of reality. Reality is the state/condition of a situation based upon an unbiased/objective observation.
With that being said, it is generally accepted that perceptions are skewed in favor of the observer. Meaning that your personal experiences, morality, behaviors color what you see. As an example, if two people view the same incident at the same time standing 3 feet apart from each other, they will individually "see" something different...i.e., perceive it differently. Some of it is due to the distance from object, others based upon previous experiences that will heighten their recall of specific events relative to the incident in from of them. By way of example, if the incident in question is a car accident, both viewers may perceive the speed very differently as well as the color of the vehicle differently based upon their own experiences with accidents/near accidents and how that immediate recall colors their new memory.
So, to answer your question, reality is always "real" and perception is reality to the viewer.

You yourself have given the answer of this question. Perception it self is not reality. Perception is the reception of reality through senses and analyse those stimulies by one's past experience. Again experience is the fruit of logical reasoning, so it differs from person to person.( Some people never learn, as we say many times ) So, when two people are looking at the moon at the same time, they are perceiving two moon. Yet we all know that there is only one moon.

When it comes to the people's perception of reality, what is real greatly depends on how honest the person is to themselves, and therefore to others. Most people don't care enough about the truth to question what they even know most of the time. Like these questions posted on here for people to answer, for example. How many answers would be posted if each person risked losing a finger if they got it wrong? Or what if it meant just getting their eyebrows shaved? How many answered questions would there be then?

Yes, reality (or fact) does exist. However, to understand this reality, we perceive it. That is how our mind work. So, reality and perception are two different things. Our job is to get complete and unbiased perception of reality.

Those who insist that there is only THE reality, where physical things are real or things are deemed real by common agreement... well, they're speaking from the context of their reality aren't they? In their world that's reality, it's concrete, there's no refuting it. In my reality that's all crap.
In my reality everything's malleable, nothing is fixed. Even physical things are not what they seem. It's not something I've been told and then strived to believe. It's something I've come to believe through my own observation and living. If the majority of the population doesn't see it how I do, it doesn't make it any less real to me.

Reality is what it is but can be perceived many ways. A child is going to perceive a long hard rain differently than a farmer, who is going to perceive it differently than a meteorologist.
Perception of any one thing allows different people to experience a moment, an event, a situation -- differently because we are not robots but have different life experiences and perspectives to bring to bear. I might see the rain as dreary, another as life-giving. The farmer might be worried that the rains will overwhelm his crop, or thankful that the rains will nourish them. And the child sees a chance for puddles to splash in when the skies clear.

It takes brains to go wrong,
All this relative stuff is nonsense, the sun will still rise tomorrow whatever way you perceive it.
There are minor differences only, the map in your head of your neighbourhood would be different from the map somebody else would have of their neighbourhood.
Why does the term "perception of reality" sound like mushroom bubble?
Footballers on a pitch all see the same ball.
Whats different is peoples contradictions, the truths are still the same.

Yes. We all have different perceptions but there are certain things that we agree upon & this agreement is reality. If a black cat walks by, we both acknowledge that it's a black cat. Your perception might be "Uh oh, a black cat crossing my path is bad luck" whereas my perception would be "what a cutie! I love black cats" but the reality, the cat itself walking by, is the same. An insane person sees things that aren't there (like a purple elephant with orange polka dots). Their perception is a delusion. Since no one agrees with him then it is not reality.
