To NO extent is philosophy considered a science. Philosophy is a branch of the "Humanities." It deals with speculative questions that do not lend themselves to the ceration of testable hypotheses, abnd therefore cannot be scientific.
The only element of philosophy that is remotely scientific is the the formal study of Logic.

Well considering that it's listed under arts & humanities, I think it's more an art than a science. If you split the difference between science & theology you'd have philosophy. It's thinking about thinking. Figuring things out. It's about theories, not hard facts. It isn't precise. There are no definite answers. No black & white so it couldn't really be considered a science.
Just my opinion. What do I know?
