Firstly, dont give credence to all these ratios or numbers especially in the spiritual path. It is absolutely meaningless number and sets you off on a wrong path. So make them spiritual, dont worry about the quotients :-)
Inculcation is pretty easy. Youngsters and kids are really impressionable, they just follow what their parents, elders or peers do. So ensure they are provided with an environment that is conducive to their spiritual growth. Very clearly distinguish betwen religion and spirituality - lest they become misguided (religion is a symbol required to progress to a certain phase in the spiritual path after which religion is not reallyimportant) As Sri Sri Ravishankar of Art of Living says, Religion is the skin and Spirituality the pulp of a banana. Once you reach the core, the skin can be dropped :-)
