Me and my ex are friends now… except that we talk to each other over the phone everyday. She told me that she may go back with me… that I have to show to her that I love her by visiting her out of town where she lives and by helping her out financially. Is a gold digger?

Yeah she's a gold digger for sure! She's also a conniving little worm who is using emotional blackmail to coerce you into giving her money. It's a form of extortion so don't cave into her lies and deceit. If you let her she will keep on taking everything until you have nothing left. Then it will be goodbye fool. Remember that she's your ex and you don't owe her anything. Stay home and get your phone number changed. The only thing you should show her is the door; again!

Hi Robert,

You have to know that U R worth much more than that...Does she supply you what it is you really need from a relationship. Is she respecting, loving, supportive in the way you need support.
Obviously you have some doubt.. For me, I find myself not putting in situation of doubt. I also call it have " false expectation "..

In a way, it's not the girl hurting you, it is yourself hurting yourself by having false expectations... This girl might be good looking or whatever, but that does not make a relationship strong...

I am really sorry for sounding as if maybe I am not saying what it is that you want to hear, but the honest truth here is that,
YOU ARE WORTH MUCH MORE...You never know, it may just change the way she sees you..But please, whatever you do...NEVER HAVE EXPECTATIONS OF OTHERS THAT THEY WILL CHANGE AS WE CAN ONLY REALLY CHANGE THE WAY WE SEE THINGS..

Good luck Robert...
KATT

Visiting her out of town, I can understand, if she now lives outside of your town. However, she has no right to ask you to help her out financially unless you are parents of the same children, engaged to be married or married already. If she had the money to move out of town, she does not need your money to stay there. It sounds like she is ready to use you for your money.

That depends a lot on whether you were a stingy jerk in the past or not.

But it doesn't sound good.
