I never had a job before and I was wondering what you have to give them for Tax purposes.

I'll probably get a job at a store or resturant at a major chain type place. I don't have any ID or anything and I just want to be prepared in case I get hired right away.

Do they Photocopy your ID and SS card or do you just have to give them your info?

thanks

You are required to provide proof of employment eligibility, meaning that you either have to show your employer your passport or provide 2 other accepted pieces of ID which can be a state issued ID card or license, social security card, military id, voter card. One of the ID's needs to be a photo id.
