The human mind being able to absorb knowledge and transcend above that knowledge through reason. Having this, a human being will be able to carry out certain principles, if not all throughout a lifetime.

In today's world talking of holding ones principles is in fact a difficult call. But if we are determined to stick to some thing which will do good to all of us without taking resort to unlawful acts, no special efforts will be needed. The only requirement will be to mould ones life in such a way that it does not require him/her to do wrong things. Such a person can be sure of upholding his/her principles with ease and for a lifetime.
