Considering the slim pickin's we're left with so far, it's possible a republican can be elected again in '08.
I'll only flee to Canada if Billary gets elected.

Absolutely. I am not sure if Hillary or Barack can get elected at this point in time of US history....sad to say in terms of our national acceptance. That aside there are some strong GOP possibilities on the Presidential nomination path; the least of which is Senator McCain.
As for people fleeing to Canada? Sure, let those that have not commitment to their country run away because their egos, political view or personal opinions are bruised. No doubt that our Canadian friends would allow a couple of hundred malcontents into their country. But I have more faith in Americans...yes, even Democrats....I think they love their country as much as any American.

I know that both the democrats and republicans alike are both corrupt and are both for the rich so I think that we as Americans need a new party to choose from with the candidate put under a microscope for all to see and hopefully they aren't the rich crooks we all have been getting stuck with because they are obviously for the corporations and don't give a **** about the poor and middle class. I am thinking about a move to Canada, America will never be the country I once loved and admired. Greed and power has corrupted our once great country and politicians.

Why is a third party not an option? Why does no one think to vote libertarian? That makes the most sense for what people want. The libertarians believe that government should be out of everyones business, and they don't want to regulate morality.

Canada's not that much better. The so-called liberals in Canada are trying to disarm their people too. As terrible as the republicans are, the only thing left to do to america to turn it into a complete totalitarian dictatorship is to disarm the population so they will be more dependent on government and support a police state. The liberals are more than willing to do this.

Sadly, yes one could get elected and no, they won't flee to Canada because the ensuing civil war will prevent free travel.

I do hope that a Republican is elected in 2008 because what will be inherited from this presidency is plainly IMPOSSIBLE to resolve. And I do not wish it on any Democrat.

I think Clinton vs. Obama could get so rough that whoever wins it might be damaged goods. People always say they're going to go into exile or whatever, but few people ever actually do it.
