I wash dishes and take out the trash and dust.I get $30 a week and a computer that is $40 a week also i have 2 rabbits and i don't have to pay for them.I get what ever i want and also i sold the car i had and am getting another $100 every 2 weeks from that.I am 14 by the way.I sold the car to a family mumber.It was given to me and it is nice shouldn't have done it.Should i try to get more money for my allowance?

I am not paying for the computer it is from sunrise TV it is a rent to own.

First of all save the money from the car. Second if you have to pay $40 a week for cable-internet connection [if it is] it sounds like you might also be paying for cable. If you got the cable and the internet from the same company you can try an renegotiate with your family on the grounds that if they watch cable too, you shouldn't be responsible for paying the whole bill. $40 a week is $160 a month. That sounds like a internet/cable monthly bill to me. And I'm sure you're not the only one using the computer.
Possible scenario 2. If you're paying for the ownership of the computer, then you have to pay with the car money. If you think you can get more money, try washing the cars or vacuming or something. Nonetheless I advice you to start building a job ethic and find an easy job somewhere close to your home. Many employers hire underage personnel. You'll gain monetary experience once you start making your own green. Good luck.

$170 a week is not bad... i would be happy! i never even got a dollar a week cuz my mom "didn't believe in paying kids for chores". I would just save it up every week and buy a new car or something else you want that's a bit more expensive... lucky you!
