It's Feb 26 and we're still discussing Valentine's Day at work.
The guy I like didn't give me anything but a hug for Val Day, but that's exactly all I wanted. And I'm not complaining because I felt the love in the hug. Some old girl at work is teasing me that she's his Valentine...but she's not. I flipped around and asked him "Well why didn't you get me anything for Valentine's Day?" ---
even though he knew I didn't want anything. He said ... "But you are my Valentine!" Then he walked behind the counter where I work and gave me a hug.

Here's the question...
How much stock would you put in the comment
"But you are my Valentine!".
Then he went on to tell me how to stand up to her yacking mouth.
He said to tell her a REAL WOMAN didn't have to brag.
And he told her that I knew what up between us.
Right! Like I know. I'm asking ppl on Y/A.

So is he really my Valentine and was all that his way to say he likes me? What about his real woman comment?

Yes i do think that is sweet talk! i think he loves you and i don't think you should let that real woman comment bother you because they is always going to have some haters out there every where you go someone is going to always try to hate on you if i was you i will not worry about that hater because i know he is in loves with you, you can tell deep down in his heart so don't let her try to worry you or bother you in no kind of way before i go i just want to tell you i wish you and your boyfriend the best of luck with y'all relationship and i hope y'all will stay together i can tell y'all make a cute couple just the way it sounds and good luck to y'all once again.

" but that's exactly all I wanted."

No that is not true,
face it you wanted something more dear,. You were hurt that he didnt get you A flower (not a bouquet), no card, to even know for sure if he is interested, and well u didnt even go to dinner? A HUG? YOU can get that from him all the time anyway? He just gave you one.

Tell him to start showing you more that 'he cares' if in fact he does. Sounds to me he is a little arrogant and likes the attn ot 2 women!

i dont see this going far unless HE tells her that you are 'his valentine" at this point i am saying WHOPEEEEE! and nto seeing anything in this.
and why the HECK DIDNT HE GET YOU ANYTHING-- see you did ask him?

I SAY MORE RESPECT OR MOVE ON

He's proved that he is a man. He also doesn't understand that the word "REAL" doesn't apply to women, unless you're talking about bust lines. I don't think that women have to prove that you are real. You have the miracle of birth thing on which to rely. We men only have our biceps and bravado.

He's just flirting. If he's really interested he has all the time in the world to ask you out after work.
