Yes and I don't know what to do about it.It seems that having an opinion about anything these days is impolite and not proper. So many people are uncaring or if it doesn't directly affect them they don't even want to hear about it.As long as it's not happening to them they don't care. But like the domino affect everything seems to eventually come home to roost, and the people who are uncaring or are contributing to the morale and political decay will someday wake up and realize when it's too late that we're all in this together.Everything affects everybody either directly or indirectly.Instead of pulling together and addressing our problems which seems to be many people would rather ignore them or concern themselves with things that don't even matter.Like what are the celebs doing? What happened on Idol?Who's adopting who in Africa? They care about going to work, paying their bills, shopping and watching TV.And they do all this completely uncaring and unaware that America is being sold down the river and all of the freedoms we take for granted could someday (maybe soon) become a thing of the past.I read somewhere in the bible that when a society becomes corrupted the Government will also become corrupted and both will fall into ruin.I think it was Solomon who said that.

yah, it's b/c the country is really only being run by 10% of the people, the 10% that make up politics, and the other 90% of the population is too jaded to care..
It is not still totally in the crapper yet, but typically most "great societies" never really "run the show" for more then 200-300 years at a time, the US has been at it for ~150 years, so it is about time for the US to over steps its bounds and either fall by the wayside, or just b/c another one of the guys...
The reality is though that w/ things like Globalization, and an expanding global population base; the world will get smaller and smaller, and since things are happening so much faster now (thanks to the internet and real time communication) eventually it wont be a matter of one country having the most influence/power as all societies will either realize that we have to tolerate each other, or we will all self destruct/implode.
but that's my .02

Our currency is marked with an inscription which we vehemently deny: "In God We Trust" and yet the "love" of our currency itself has replaced the God in whom we trusted. While charity covers a multitude of sins - and America is charitable, we see also that the seven deadly sins are alive and well in America. Prayer and sacrifice made us a great nation and it will take prayer and sacrifice to save it. Every great society that fell, crumbled from within. Our decline has begun. Pres. John Kennedy gave us a formula, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for your country." Pray. Wisdom Speaks!

Yes. The morality of America is starting to effect its power and influence because it corrupts our way of thinking.

The best we can hope for in America is a soft landing and not a hard crash. America as we know it will sease to exist within the next 50 years. Mexico, Canada and the U.S. will basically become one nation.

I know all empires fall, and I think that since the way things happen is speeding up in general, I think its only logical for empires to rise and fall faster than they used to. (What I mean by things speeding up is that, for example, 200 years ago, wars were extremely slow. Today, theyre much faster-paced. Information travels at light-speed compared to a few centuries ago, etc.)
The american empire is going to fall someday and will be replaced by another. Thats the way of things. It seems to me like this might happen sooner rather than later, but I cant say anything for sure.
