As far as I gather, to change your number you will need to change your Sim Card (the one that rides inside the phone usually under the battery). :)

Simple, you just call the cell phone company and they will change it for you. You can not just get any number you want cause someone else may have this. The cell phone company will issue you a number that is not being used.
