i'm not sure about that but i'm sure that virgin women at later ages are more likely to get ovarian cancer. it was said in a tv show before, by a doctor.
sorry i don't really know the facts regarding why this is.

Yes, it's true. Birth control pills also reduce the risk of ovarian cancer (although they may increase the risk of breast cancer).

Anything that decreases the total number of ovulations a woman has over her lifetime will decrease her risk of ovulation.

You don't ovulate while you're pregnant, so that's nine months out of your life that you aren't ovulating, when you would have otherwise been doing so.

The same goes for the pill. The primary function of birth control pills is to prevent ovulation, so as long as you're on the pill, you're not ovulating.

I believe so! Nuns and women who have fertility treatments have been shown to have a higher rate of ovarian cancer. The reason being that pregnancies give your ovaries a break from ovulation. No pregnancies and fertility treatments work your ovaries overtime and more exposure to harmones thus increasing your chances of cancer!
