More people are familiar with and can relate to Obama or Hillary. People know McCain from back in the day, but the Republicans need to really reach out to minorities and women if they wanna win next time.

McCain was severely damaged by his own party in 2000, when he ran against W, and has not done well since. He is not a sure thing candidate at all. Plus, ever since 2000 he has been associated with Bush, not a good thing these days.

McCain is such a spineless sellout he'd lose over half the conservative base. Hillary would win because they would stay home out of disgust.
So yeah, Hillary *or* Obama would stand a very good chance against McCain.

I really want to agree with you, but the media is so against the conservatives, that all we get is bad press. The media will not make the liberal candidates look bad, therefore i hate to say, we may lose this next one. But if in some way we could knock either Hillary or Obama out, we could have a chance.
