I have found that you do not get anything free. In your case I would have changed the phone number. Then they can not charge you number then. In the states I was reading an article about a Sprint cell phone customer getting charged by a third party. Now get this. Sprint would not tell the person who the third party was because of the privacy issues. So how was the customer to know who to call to stop the charges. And Sprint wants to know why I think they suck. Anyway, the guy finally found out after calling over their heads and of course Sprint sucks up saying they were not aware of this problem. Sure. Anyway, have fun and change the number.

Block their texts. Call your provider and find out how.
