In the 70's the artist said the same thing and changed colors of his outfit to red, yellow and black.

Elongated Man is actualy a very inteligent character. He is in the level of dectives just below Batman, Nightwing, and Robin. The purple and white suit was done to make him mor noticable in the JLI. He origanly wore red and black.

You said it!He's so stupid that he does'nt deserve the purple/white costume.He deserves to just quit the league and join something like "League of Lamos"

I don't know how stupid he is, or what the colors of his suit have to do with his brains. However, I bet he could at least be smart enough to spell elongated correctly.
