Hi,
Let me begin by explaining it to you in detail.
I have a 9 mth.old son. I am currently 23 yrs. of age and his dad is 26, which means that we are a modern day parent who is aware of everything that is going around them, the fast changing times, the In and out things, the entertainment factor and just about everything!! Now, think of the time 20yrs from now, when my son would be 20yrs. old and i would be 43 and his dad 46. The time then would be entirely different as it is now.Perhaps with age @ that time we as parents wont be so In with all the things happening around us. Reason- 1} With age comes maturity and with that comes responsibility.2} In the race to provide our son with all the possible basic things in life like his education, his future we will definitely ignore all these things. 3} It would hold no importance in our life as it does now when we have age @ our side. So, definitely our views and perspective 2wards everything will be different as our son. But like i said 'people mature with age'. So, whatever you think will be a spur -of -the -moment decision while your parents would put everything revolving around you, your future, themselves into consideration and then give a decision. And they are not neccessarily wrong. They do this because they love and care for you. In which case your father wont ever show his feelings 2wards you. But remember he is One behind who you are 2day! Reflect on what I say. Maybe you wont understand what i am trying 2 say now, but when you have kids yourself you will definitely understand. So, enjoy your life. And do not always ignore your Father's decisions. Talk with him one on one. Keep it safe.

Because the son always thinks he knows all and the Dad usually has the right answer long term, but the son has to learn the hard way. Just like I did... The older I get, the smarter he gets.
